Goodfight x Kato Campus Jacket Black
The Campus Jacket was first designed in Goodfight's "Familiar Piety" FW19 collection. Inspired by the way people would style their shirt collars outside of their jackets during the fifties, the distinct double collar design was incorporated into the chore coat as a representation of the duality of the brand's founders' cultural background as third culture people. It was a clear choice as the signature piece for Kato's front-of-house uniform because of the synergy in what the design represents and the inspiration that chef @jonyao draws from his Taiwanese American background. The body of the jacket was updated to better fit all genders and body types, while the covered placket and asymmetric welted pockets add to its elegant style. It is available for the first time in the collaboration, Goodfight cut Kato's jacket in a plush wool-blend Japanese gabardine, which is the perfect weight for use as a light jacket in transitional temperatures.
