Good Art Hlywd for Goodfight Turin Ring
The marquee item of Goodfight’s ongoing collaboration with @goodarthlywd is the Turin Ring, inspired by the avant-garde auto factory. Made of solid 925 Sterling silver, the ring features a track with fully moveable cars that can “race” along the subtly banked face. “AND IT’S A GOOD DAY TO RACE”—directly from the wildly ingenious mind of Josh Warner—made expressly for Goodfight SS20 “My Other Car Is A Singer”. The Lingotto. The building is a structure that looks like it was born out of a Gondry film. Located in its namesake district in the city of Turin, the building was not only the world’s largest car factory when it opened in 1923, but also the most ambitious. The design spanned five floors flanked by two iconic spiraling ramps, with car construction beginning with raw materials entering the ground level and progressing as the vehicle made its way up the building. Finished cars would reach the factory’s crowning feature: a sprawling rooftop test track, banked oval perfection that marked the final evaluation before cars were approved to be sales ready for the public.
